Introduction
The Yield page lets you discover, stake, deposit into, monitor, and withdraw from supported staking and DeFi yield opportunities without leaving Utila.
Yield is powered by Yield.xyz (https://yield.xyz) and the underlying third-party protocols. Every transaction that Yield initiates goes through Utila's standard signing pipeline and is subject to your vault's transaction policy, the same as any other Utila transaction.
Yield on Utila features a curated set of opportunities, validators, and blockchains, rather than the full range that Yield.xyz supports. The list of featured yields and blockchains changes over time as opportunities are added or removed.
Disclaimer: Yield services are offered and provided to you directly by third parties over which Utila has no control. Utila has no responsibility (including support), obligation, or liability for any such service provided by a third party.
Utila does not approve, endorse, or recommend any such third party or its services, but may receive referral fees from such service providers.
Utila does not have access to your crypto-assets, does not control their value, and does not act as an intermediary in any yield transaction. The initiation and execution of any transaction is made directly between you and the third-party protocol.
Yields are not guaranteed and deposits carry risk of loss. This is not investment advice.
Permissions
Admins and Signers can open the Yield page, view opportunities and positions, and initiate stakes, deposits, and withdrawals. Completing a yield transaction requires signing, the same as any other Utila transaction. That is typically done from the Utila mobile app, and is subject to your vault's quorum and policy set for the vault.
Viewers cannot open the Yield page. They can still see the resulting activity in Transactions and in the DeFi positions on the wallet or balance pages.
Find opportunities
Yield on Utila features a curated set of opportunities, validators, and blockchains.
On the Utila console's navigation menu, click Yield to open the Yield page.
The wallet picker only lists wallets that have a supported blockchain.
The blockchain picker only lists the blockchains Utila currently features for Yield, and only those available on the selected wallet.
Token lists only include assets that have an enabled Yield.
Select the wallet and blockchain. Yield groups opportunities into three category, RWA, DeFi, and Stake.
Real-World Assets (RWA)
The RWA tab combines permissioned and permissionless strategies that derive yield from real-world assets, such as T-bills or private credit. Providers include Fasanara, Midas, Securitize, and others.
Permissioned strategies may require a one-time identity check hosted by the provider before you can deposit. Check the yield's details for KYC requirements, lockups, and redemption time before you deposit.
DeFi
The DeFi tab is for on-chain protocols such as lending markets and yield vaults. Examples include protocols like Morpho, Sky, and Aave.
The label above the amount input reflects the yield type, such as Vault or Lending. The action button is relevant to the yield type, Deposit, Supply, or similar.
Stake
The Stake tab is for on-chain staking of an asset. Where the blockchain supports it, this includes:
Native staking: delegate the asset to a validator from Utila's curated set.
Liquid staking (on applicable chains): stake and receive a liquid token you can hold or use elsewhere.
Pooled staking (on applicable chains): stake through a pooled validator set rather than a single validator.
Stake or deposit into a yield
On the Utila console's navigation menu, click Yield to open the Yield page.
Select the wallet you want to use.
Select a blockchain.
Open a category tab: Stake, DeFi, or RWA.
Select the asset. Only assets in the selected wallet that have a valid yield on the selected blockchain are shown. The label above the input reflects the yield type. For example, Vault, Lending, Native Staking, or Liquid Staking.
Choose a specific yield from the filtered list. For staking, this may include selecting a validator from Utila's curated set.
Enter the amount. The panel updates to show what you will receive and the estimated yearly and monthly rewards on that amount.
Click the action button. The label depends on the yield type: Stake, Deposit, or Supply.
Review the confirmation screen. It restates the amount and headline APY, itemizes the estimated gas fee, and links to the Terms of Use and Risk Disclosures.
Click Confirm, then approve the transaction on your mobile device as you would any other Utila transaction.
Depending on the yield, you may be asked to sign more than one transaction, for example an approval and a supply. The Follow Steps screen tracks each one along the timeline: approve, submitting transaction, pending, and completed once the transaction is included on-chain.
While a yield transaction is in progress, Policy Status appears at the top of the Yield page. Click Go to transaction to open it in Transactions.
You can cancel a yield transaction that is still in progress using the Cancel button. This aborts the underlying Utila transaction.
Track your positions
The Manage tab is where your open positions live.
At the top, three tiles summarize the selected wallet on the selected blockchain: Total staked, Average APY, and Available.
Below them, My positions lists each yield you hold, with its provider, its current APY, and your balance.
Click a position to open its detail view, with a full balance breakdown and the staking or deposit details for that yield.
Unstake or withdraw from a yield
On the Utila console's navigation menu, click Yield to open the Yield page.
Select the wallet and blockchain.
Open the Manage tab.
Click an existing position from My positions.
Above the amount field, select Unstake or Withdraw, depending on the yield type.
Enter the amount, or click Max to use the full balance. The panel states how long the funds will take to arrive.
Click Unstake or Withdraw.
Review the confirmation screen, which itemizes the estimated gas fee and links to the Terms of Use and Risk Disclosures.
Click Confirm and approve the transaction on your mobile device.
Track progress along the same timeline: approve, submitting transaction, pending, and completed.
Withdrawn assets are not always available immediately. Each yield sets its own redemption time. Some return funds instantly. Others hold them for a fixed period, such as two days. This is a protocol-level constraint imposed by the third-party provider, not a Utila one. Check the yield's redemption time before you stake or deposit.
Some yields also require a follow-up claim after the redemption period before assets return to the wallet.
Track your activity
Yield activity is recorded in a few places:
The Activity tab: lists your yield transactions in reverse-chronological order, as recorded by Yield.xyz. Filter by All, Stake, DeFi, or RWA.
Transactions: shows the same activity alongside every other transaction your vault makes. From the Yield page, click Go to transaction to open the matching record.
Each Wallet’s DeFi position tab.
The Balance page, DeFi positions section.
Each entry in the Activity tab shows:
Whether the asset was deposited or withdrawn.
The provider name, for example via Maple.
The tokens and amounts involved, and the date.
A status indicator is provided below the transaction type.
For a successfully completed transaction, click View transaction to see the transaction in the blockchain explorer.
Transaction policy and security
Yield transactions are Utila transactions, not an external d'App session. The controls you already use apply:
Transaction Policy: every stake, deposit, approval, unstake, and withdrawal goes through Utila's standard signing pipeline and is subject to your vault's transaction policy. If a transaction is blocked by a policy condition, Policy Status on the Yield page shows the reason and the transaction is not submitted. Learn more in the Introduction to the transaction policy article.
Transaction records: Yield transactions appear in Transactions with the rest of your vault activity, so you can review, filter, and export them like any other Utila transaction.
They do not hold any special type and correlate to the relevant transaction that was created by the flow, such as token approval and a contract call for a vault deposit.
