Introduction to Utila vaults

What are vaults

Updated over a week ago

Utila's vaults are the fundamental organizational workspace on the Utila platform.

A vault is an organization's workspace that manages your funds. It has a unified governance layer, containing mechanisms such as transaction and compliance policies, admin quorum management, and an address book for all its underlying assets held in wallets.

Users typically interact with the Utila platform in the context of a vault. New users either create a vault or are invited to a vault when they first log in.

Users can easily switch between their vaults with a click of a button, though the number of vaults you can create is subject to customer usage quotas.

A vault typically contains multiple wallets, and you can use the vault across many blockchains.
