Guides you through the process of setting up and using Utila Link.

Use Utila Link to discover, connect, and transact securely with verified counterparties, without manually sharing wallet addresses.

Set up your profile

Only Admins and the workspace owner can set up a Utila Link profile. Ensure you hold one of these roles or coordinate with someone who does before continuing.

Your profile describes your business to others on the Link network.

  1. Go to Vault Settings > Access > Utila Link Profile and click Activate your profile to get started. This displays the link profile form.

  2. Provide your business details:

    • Name

    • Website - the URL of the company website

    • Region - EU, US, LATAM, Asia, etc.

    • Primary Contact - Email / Telegram handle

    • Description - what your business does or can offer to clients

    • Industry Tags - PSP, OTC, Broker, VC,Exchange, On/Off Ramp, etc.

  4. Click Activate profile. The profile details are sent to Utila for approval. This can take up to 24 hours. To expedite the process, contact Utila support.

  5. Once approved by Utila, your profile becomes active.

  5. Click Send Request. A Vault Action is created for your team’s approval.

Approve vault actions (your side)

  1. Your admins receive a notification.

  2. The connection request remains pending until the quorum approves it.

  3. If rejected, the request ends here.

  4. If approved, the request is sent to the counterparty and shown in the Outgoing Requests section in the Connections tab.

Counterparty approval (other side)

  1. The counterparty sees your request under Incoming Requests in the Connections tab.

  2. They review details (connection name, blockchains available for deposit, business context).

  3. If they approve:

    • A Vault Action is created on their side for internal approval.

    • When approved it, the connection becomes active.

  4. If they reject:

    • They see that the incoming connection has a rejected status.

    • You see Rejected by Counterparty in your records.

View an active connection

    • Destination type: Link Connection or Any Link Connection

    • Specific assets or chains allowed (optional)
