Chrome extension settings

Updated over a month ago

Access the Utila Chrome extension settings under the main extension menu.

Show testnets – Display wallet testnets in the extension and allow users to connect to dapps on those networks.

Token approval customization – When enabled, the extension will display the token approval requested by the dapp and allow the user to override the allowance amount.

Allow creation of policy-rejected transactions – By default, transactions are screened against the transaction policy before creation, and transactions that would be denied are not created. When this setting is enabled, such transactions will still be created even if they are expected to be denied by the policy.

Permit visibility – The extension will display the fields of Sign Typed Data Permit messages, including amount and spender, before creating the transaction, allowing the user to review them in advance.

Solana blockhash replacement – Replace the provided blockhash with the latest available one when possible (that is, when no durable nonce is used and all signers are in the vault). This gives users more time to review and sign the transaction before it expires.

Custom Sui wallet names

Some Sui dApps look for specific wallet name formats when detecting extensions. If a dApp doesn’t recognize the Utila extension, you can add alternative names here to help it identify and connect. For example, if a dApp expects the name “Slush Wallet” but your wallet isn’t detected, you can add “Slush” or “Slush Wallet” to ensure compatibility. Enter multiple names separated by commas to support different variations.
