The swap and bridge functionality is powered by third-party providers and the user interface is similar to what swap websites provide.
You need a specific approval rule for swapping or bridging ERC-20 tokens. For details on how to do this, see Create EVM contract call rule.
Create swap or bridge
To create a swap or bridge, click Swap/Bridge on the left navigation menu.
Select the source wallet.
Select which token types you are swapping or bridging and enter the amount to send.
Select which token you want to receive in exchange or bridge.
Set the slippage tolerance. This defines the maximum allowed price movement during execution.
If you select tokens with different blockchain formats, you can bridge. Click the address book, select a recipient, and click Set recipient address.
If there is more than one route available, select which one you want to use.
If you are swapping ERC-20 tokens, you need to approve the token for use in your wallet. Click View token approval.
In the token approval pop-up, you can see to whom you grant the allowance, and for which wallet and token. You can choose the exact amount to transfer, so the approval will not be unlimited, and the maximum fee you want to pay.
Now click Create token approval. The swap or bridge is sent to the required approvers and to the signer you set up in the policy for signature. After approval and signing, the tokens are swapped or bridged, and you’ll see the status and linked transactions in the Transaction tab.
