Updated over 2 months ago

To transfer assets, tap the Transfer button at the top right. When transferring from your mobile device, you can only transfer assets from a wallet.

Remember that you first need to have a transaction policy to transfer assets.

When you have transaction rules, you can transfer assets. The procedure steps at the top of the page are there to guide you.

1. Token

Select the tokens to transfer. You can also search for them. Once the token is selected, you automatically move to the next step.

2. From

You now need to select which wallet to use. You can also search for it. Once the wallet is selected, you automatically move to the next step.

3. To

For this to work, you need the details of the destination. In this example, we need the wallet address. For the address book, see Add an address book entry.

  1. Select the destination type. You can also search for it.

    1. Address book. You'll see a list of addresses

    2. Wallet. If you want to transfer assets between your own wallets, use this.

    3. Address. Enter the external address you want to transfer the assets to. This can either be manually or using a QR code.

To use the QR code, click the QR icon to open the camera, go to the address book on the console, click the scan icon of the address, and scan the code.

  2. Select the destination. You automatically move to the next step.

4. Amount

  1. Enter the amount you want to transfer. This can be in tokens or USD equivalent.

  2. Set the fee priority. The expected amount of the fee is shown. If you do not have sufficient assets to pay the transaction fee, you see an "insufficient funds" error and can't complete the transaction.

  3. Click Next.

5. Add a note

You can add a note about the transfer. Click Next.

6. Summary

You are presented with a summary of the transaction for you to approve. Click Create Transfer to send the transaction.

It then goes through the transaction rules and any screening you’ve implemented.

Once approved, sign the transaction on your mobile. For details, see Sign a transaction.
